Quit

Quit "Me for Me"

I was going to try and hold out and put up a compendium of South Florida pop punk bands but this song (and album, for that matter) is so good I thought I'd put it up now. I don't think Quit was really known outside of the South Florida area but they were around from the mid 90's until 2002. Their sound changed over the years but they seemed to stay true to themselves. "Me for Me" is off their album "Earlier Thoughts".
Think amateurish Descendents....

This band was quite good, and very well respected by the older punk kids, it always seemed that every show was the last show they were going to play and then next week there would be a flyer for them at Cheers. They were a solid power pop combo and well loved by everyone in south florida!

here are a few other bands that you might want to list that rocked south florida and were incredibly local:

donut run
pivot
my pal trigger
bingo mutt
the jive step bunch
side order
the double agents
caddy jean (ha)
anybody on tim's label...

there might also be room for a hardcore blog as well..

starting with Culture. Tension. As Friends Rust. Night of Broken Glass. Nobujest. Bird of Ill Omen. Just call Damien up... he was in half of them...

anything on that space cadet records!
just throwin' it out there.
